Got the new tranny in on sunday, and it went pretty smoothly, other than my friend saying every 2 minutes that it wasn't going to fit when we still had like and inch to go before it was even close to the dowel pins.

Now all thats left to do is hook up all the cables, and put the driveshaft in and its ready to go again. I thought I was in over my head, but it was actually not that hard. The hardest part about it was keeping the tranny steady on the floor jack so the torque converter wouldn't fall out.
