Default RE: Transmission problem?

It could be your kick down cable. Lube up the linkage at the bracket at the transmission. Also lube the throttle body where the throttle cable pully is attatched. Take the intake snorkel off and use some good throttle body cleaner and de-carbon the throttle bore, throttle plate (especially where they meet the bore), and as far down as you can get. Hopefully that will free it up a little. If you are VERY VERY VERY careful, you can apply a couple dabs of oil on the shaft. You can also use graphite, but oil is easier.
