has anyone installed a doop popper system in a 69 camaro? i have a 50lb solenoid system from summit, the wiring is all done and the solenoids fire well. i have the solenoids mounted directly under the door handle and have the solenoid pull cable attach to the door opening mechagnism to its right, but i cant seem to get this to open the door. The solenoid only pulls a half inch, which the amount of play built into the door handle to keep it from opening if it gets bumped. if i pull the handle tight,so that there is no play, and then attach the wiring, then the solenoid cant seem to fire. i ca see it figit, trying to pull the weight, but it cant seem to do it when starting tightly. im stumped. has anyone done this install, where did u mount the poppers? where is your attachment point for the pull cable. thanks for all the help, im really stumped.
