Default how to install a light bulb into a 94 camaro drivers door

Hello, although I've read tons of threads for some time, this is my 1st thread. I have a 94 Z28. I am replacing a broken. Drivers door switch plate and my lightt bulb just hangs with no obvious way of monting it some place on the cover. Any advice would be greatly appreceiated. Thanks!

if you were say sitting in the driver seat, and look directly at the handle of your door, there is a tiny hole above where the pwr window and lock buttons are. Try to locate a little hole right above the inside of the door and it locks in there with half a turn. I had the same problem when i was putting my speakers in and the previous owner just left the bulbs bundled in the wiring for the window switch!!

Anyone have the bulb size handy? Also a couple pictures would help if someone had a pic from the inside showing how much of the door disassembly is necessary and/or writeup...

not sure off hand, think you just need to take off the handle cover, pop up the lock and window switch, and its right there then straight up there is a little half circle that the bulb holder spins into

size is 74 i think, LED is best choice because i put regular bulbs in mine when i fixed up a lot on each door, and the light is not even noticable unless you look through that hole and it's REALLY dark

^ Guess I never wanted to try messing with it before. The bulbs are really dim, which LEDs did you go with?

The bulb change is easy, if you take your time, pull two screws, carefully push the plastic tabs you can free that module, and then gently rotate the bulb housing out to unlock it.

Here's the stocker bulbs:

I have decided to use the stock bulb and lay it across the back of the swithplate and mount it myself. Even the LEDs aren't that bright thru that tiny hole. I checked my 2002 N.H.R.A. Formula door which has the same hole, and it is the same set up as the camaro, only the bulbs are red. And since I don't know if its an LED or just a stock red bulb, in my Z28, I mounted the bulb across the back of the switch plate and then installed the switch plate. Now the entire switch plate lights up well.
