Default TRANS AM 10 BOLT ?

i heard 70-81 trans am rearends are2 inches shorter then a camarossomething to do with scca raceing back in the day igot 325 50s to fit my car without rubbing orginally a six banger car was told trans am rears in it now could be a tall tale if any body could answer would be apprecated.

you didnt answer the question . is a trans am rear shorter then a camaro? i know they interchange duh its in my car now.

if it's in your car, I would have figured that you would know if it's shorter or not, duh[sm=icon_stickpoke.gif][sm=usa.gif]

I said what I said because they fit and there was no difference. I've had them in, with and without discs, same rims, same backspacing and same clearances without any problems, so they would be the same

I have a ten bolt out of a 792nd gen if you want I could measure from the spring perch to the backing plate.

when you get a chance thanks. the rear was in the car when i bought it .
