Default tranny wont shift

So my tranny shift at 35 rpm...out of first gear, she scream the whole way...I just finsihed installing a new intake and carb and valve covers...and i thought i labeled them correctly, but i cant seem to find the problem...i have plenty of transmission fluid and there is no fluid leaks...so my next guess would be the vaccum leak maybe? i am not sure, if i did install the lines wrong does anyone have a diagram of what right looks like? i have a 79 camaro 305 (yeah i know 305) any help would be appreciated...

you got the vacum modulator hooked up to a good vacum source??? as well as the kick down cable? was it installed properly. that has nothing really to do with the shift at normal operation. but check your vac. line. to the modulator.
