Thats absowotwee ludacrisp. I don't know if you need an intervention or a detox. Say it aint so, Joe. Someone get a rope. The third gen sounds fun, but then you would have to go to a different forum. You have to get your mullet good and long to drive one too.

Nahh I'm foolin with you, but really?

^ Yeah, what he said! What the hell did he say?
Keep the 70. Not only is it a cooler car, but it will always be worth more than the 82 and will build value at a faster rate.

Sounds like the guy is trying to get himself a second generation cheap. Look at the going price for the first generation cars. Man the price of the seconds are going to be going up with them. Do you want to keep a car that with you blood, sweat, and tear is going to be a head turning expensive machine? The other option is a third generation car, that you have to have a code reader to work on. That will always have to be emission tested and never ge the looks that a second generation will get. Stay the course, go find a POS to run around in, till you get the cash to get your 70 running.

I agree fully. I wouldnt trade a 70 for a 3rd gen any day. I am not a Camaro officionado, but I know enough to know that an early 2nd gen is by far nicer looking, more valuable, and a much nicer car. If you have no funds then let it sit in the garage... Patience is a virtue and with time all things will work themselves out. Don't act on impulse here. Put your blood sweat and tears into the 70 and if your broke when it's finished you can sell it and have the experience you gained building it and the money you made off of it.
