Theft Protection

How would they get the hood open if the doors were locked? since scout II's have the corvette style hood with the release in the cab. Just wondering if there's some secret way to open the hood from the outside lol, since I remember helping cutting the hood where the latch connects on a previous SII with a stuck latch.

Thats hillarious lol. But ya know, I think that would look sinister on a flat black Rat Rod with like a chain cheme, But drill good holes and put some sort of metal gromets. Chain steering wheel, chain grill etc. but the chains would be shorter. It would remind me of Mad Max or somthing lol.

I couldn't tell you. Its just a memory from when I was a kid, probably 8 yrs old I guess.

i guess putting in a cable release type hood latch could be a good start...
probably a ignition and fuel pump Cutoff
and a starter Terminal Shield could be a good idea

I use a column collar type of thing.

Sticks 1/8" of metal around the entire steering column, with a lockable attachment that covers the ignition switch and sticks a bar through the steering wheel.
