Default Sway Bar Bushing

I got a 79 Z28 Camaro and I was wondering what the size of the front sway bar was. I want to buy energy suspension bushings, and if anyone has done this, could you also please include the part number.

if you are just going to buy stock sized replacement bushings, they will be able to pull the part numbers for you real easy when you order. it doesn't get any easier than stock replacements

there are 2 different size front sway bars.there is a 7/8 and a 1 1/8.the back is a 5/8.i think the z-28's had the 1 1/8 front sway-bar.the coupes had the 7/8 front sway-bar

It was a 1 and 1/8" sway bar. Energy Suspension has a printable measuring tool on their website that proved to be very handy. Thanks for your help. I didn't want to go with stock ones, I wanted to go with greasable polyeurothane to make it handle better. I used poly graphite in the back, leaf spring pads, shackle bushings, and shock bushings. For the front I went with poly graphite for the control arm bushings (more expensive than polyeurothane) they glide better with less squeak. I then used Energy Suspension poly eurothane for the sway bar end links, shock bushings, steering boots, ball joint boots, and sway bar bushings.

use your head and measure the sway bar before you buy new bushings .you dont buy new shoes before you try them on do you.

I did measure it hence the print out from energy supsension ****** bag. Hence I know it is a 1 1/8" bar for a 1 1-8" bushing. I was just looking for a quick reference... that's why we have this forum isn't it?
