appreciated it guys. i will post up pics of it tonight. it will def have to have a new core support. thanks for the tips on the fenders. i think im going to try and square up the front end before i do anything. make sure the frame is straight. i know he said it looks like the door to fender gap is off but he nailed the back of a mini van. so i will check it out and post up some pics tonight and you guys lets me know what else i might need that i am looking over.

Couple reason why there aren't any around you. First salted roads rust out vehicles, so after 30 yrs. there's not much left. 2nd, the DEQ has made wrecking yards turn cars over fast, so very few sit around waiting for us to buy parts from them. They get smashed up and sent overseas to become Toyotas!

I do have to say I agree. I think the tail end of the '71 Camaro is better and I'm currently looking at the best way to convert the tail end of my '81 Camaro to that of the '71.

ive also been thinking of converting my 79 rear end to a 71 i seen one like that before really threw me off as i passed i said to my wife as i always point cars out to her even tho she could really care less (we bought a new car last month her choice she bought a minivan after drining a ss1 i could have never done that) an the front was 78-81 an by the louvers in the fenders i decided it was a 81 then as i passed it i looked in the rear view and bam it was a 71 ive been obsessed with it ever since i wish some one made a kit for this
