front end swap
i have a 96z and am looking at swaping the front end for the 98 front end. is there anything that i need besides a hood and new front fenders and headlights? Is there a different wiring harness for the headlights?

Wiring is the same but some of the wires need to be moved. It is pretty simple you will get the idea as soon as you take the car apart.
Dont forget the styrofoam absorber that is used in the 98-02 bumper... yours is a plastic honeycomb that will not fit with the newer cover. There are a couple of holes that will need to be drilled for the lower headlight bracket but that is no biggy. You can actually leave them out and the headlights still fit good. Just make sure to take everything out including the brackets, plastic covers, bolts and what have you. Here is a pic of a 96 RS that recieved the newer nose.

yes the fog lights you have are on "L" brackets and are square the LS nose has round pod style that are mounted on brackets just behind the bumper and attach to the headlight and bumper/fender bracket.
