Default Stripped grooves on window crank

Hello everyone,

My question today is about my window crank. When I bought the car the crank was removed and they were using vise grips to lower and raise the window. As you can all probably guess, this led to the stripping of the grooves where the window crank would normally go. Now, I am trying to find the easiest/ most effective way to put it all back together how it is supposed to go. Any information will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply. So I do need the whole regulator? I thought I might be able to get off just getting something smaller and cheaper or by rigging something together...

Once again, thanks.

Which side do you need? I have an extra regulator you can have, just pay the shipping.

I have a driver's side regulator. I can get some pics of it if you want. It works great, I can check it over real good and lube the gear and friction spring for you. PM me if you want to get it. Anything else you need? I have a lot of small parts left over.
