Default Steering/Suspension Noise????

Hey guys new to the forums, site looks pretty cool:

I am having a problem with my 71. It has been running strong but i have noticed a slight clunking noise under my feet. I can't hear it except when going very slow, as the engine/exhaust noise pretty much drowns it out. At first I thought it was possibly the U joints on the drive shaft since it's a noise that speeds up with the speed of the car. I checked those out, all looks good. Then I was thinking it was possibly something in the wheel/hub assembly but I looked and no aparent issues. So I am thinking it's possibly related to the steering pump(which is starting to crap out) or steering box. The thing is, it happens when I am going straight too, so I am at a loss. Now it has been sitting for a while as I just finished my stroker build and install so I am hoping it is just a nasty bushing binding up in the suspension or something. Let me know if I should post this in a differant forum too.

Thanks for any help you can give me....
