what kind of gearbox came on the 78' with a 350.i'm going to replace the gearbox on my car because it leaks real bad.mine has pretty quick steering and i dont want to get another box thats not as quick.what ratio came on these cars.i probably should have checked it before i posted this,but i think my box is 1 1/2 turns lock to lock.it feels pretty tight ,no slop.should i rebuild or replace.
