I have heard of 3" fiberglass hoods having trouble but nothing about the 2" steel. Crappy. Then again I hear of people having trouble with the stock hood and the wrong blades. Does it hit when they are all the way up or when they come back down? I've seen many try and stab the center of the hood. The ones that scrap on the way down are usually the wrong blades.

When the wipers are hiden away they are just clear of the hood, but as soon as they try and pop up they get stuck!. I think that standard wipers would be ok, just issues with the hide away type.

Could you take a picture so we could maybe see the type of blades you're using? maybe they are taller inserts than stock blades?

Passenger side wiper is a Anco 4-14
Driver side wiper is a Anco 4-13

Both clear the side of the Hood but hit the centre of the Cowl. I've took some pics, not sure how clear they will be. Will up load them tomorrow.
