You Left Very Little Info ... Kinda Hard To Troubleshoot Stalls Without More Info. Stalls Like You Discribed Is Generally Because Of The Carb Loading Up. Bad Plugs, Wires, Rotor, Fuel Filter, Or Distributor Cap Can Also Cause Stalls. Loss Of Vacuum Can Cause Simular Problems. When Was The Last Time You Had A Tune Up? Is The Motor Stock? How Many Miles It Got On It? Does It Run Fine Otherwise?Sick

Well This Is Probably A Good A Place To Start As Any. You Need To Put A Vacuum Gauge On Your Motor And Make Sure You Have Enough Vacuum For The Power Valve That's In The Carb. If I Had To Guess I Would say You probably Have A 6.5 power Valve. With That Size Power Valve You Must Have A Vacuum Of Atleast 12 In. mg Idling In Gear With The Brake On. If Your Vacuum Is Less The Power Valve Is Opening up And Loading The Carb. Therefore Causing It To Stall Out. When You Test Your Vacuum At Idle In Gear with The Brake On ... Whatever The Reading You Get ... Divide It By Two And Thats The Size Power Valve You Need. If You Read Lets Say 7 in. mg You Will Need A 3.5 Power Valve To Keep The carb From Loading Up. Since You Said This Just Started ... It Might Would Be A Good Idea To Look Over Your Vacuum Lines And Make sure One Isn't Disconnected Or Dry Rotted. If So ... That Will probably solve Your problem Without Power Valve Replacement. Sick

Yeah check the vacuum on it. I had an 86 IROC with the same problem, used to have to pop it into neutral and keep reving it when I came to a stop...
