Has anyone ever heard of a shark alarm system? I'm rebuilding a 79 z28 & there is an aftermarket alarm installed. There's a little black box under the dash that says shark and has a min/max adjustment, and a keypad on the front of the ash tray.

.. I can't find anything about it on the web & any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

I would remove it and store it in the trash bucket.
If you looking to alarm it, install a hidden toggle switch in the IGN wire and/or add a battery disconnect switch.
