Admittedly this is a dumb question, but I have never used a jack and stands before, so forgive me.
(Always used ramps before)

Where does one place a jack to lift the front end of a camaro (it is a '67)

And then where does one place the stands to hold it up?

You should jack it up where the fenders meet up on the pinch weld so it won't deform. But the problem then would be where to put the jack stand. You could jack it from the front control arm and put the jackstand under the reinforced pinch weld.
