Rearend locked
ok so i've been messing with my 79 camaro getting it ready to put the motor back in. the car has been sitting for two weeks since i pushed it out to pressure wash. so today i was gonna push it outside in the sun to let the paint dry. when i was trying to push it, it acted like it was in park, but there's no tranny. so i put the rearend on the jack, and the right tire spins freely and you can see the yoke spinning: but the left side acts if it was in park. this doesn't make any sense, but does anyone know wat it could be? thanks.

RE: Rearend locked
I would yank the wheel off and see if the brakes possibly locked up?
Also, have you been using the emergency brake? If you power washed the underneath, water could have gotten into the cable housing or other works and rust could have frozen the E-brake in place. Just a thought.
