If you got all the u-bolt nuts off, smack the u-bolts up from the bottom and take them off the axle tube. The bottom spring plates will come off automatically at that point. Then the axle should lift right off the leaf springs, maybe with a little persuasion if needed. The whole rearend should slide out sideways between the leaf spring and body.

FINALLY GOT IT GUYS lol thanks for the help..... what i ended up doing is putting jackstand under the rear bumper taking the tires off and putting a jack under the pumpkinand jacking it up so it was about 1/2" for the jack stands and i put a mapp gas torch on each side of the leaf springs(one side of the car at a time) and just got them balanced there and just let the heat do the work about 5 minutes later it finally popped out then i simply did teh same on the other side..... just posting this so if anyone else has this prob they can try if they would like.... but remember THE GAS TANK IS RIGHT THERE SO BE VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL
