Removal of 69 Rear Seat
#2
There are hook catches (one on each side) that holds the seat portion to the floor. You push the base of the seat, by the bottom frame, towards the back while lifting at the same time. It's under tension, so you need to use a little horsepower. Sometimes kicking it with your knee helps.
The backrest is bolted (2 bolts) to the rear bulkhead at the base, you'll see it once the seat is out. Remove those and slide the back straight up to unhook it at the top.
