Portland Transmission is 5-7-11 and Papa's Toys is 5-14, so they wont conflict this year. Both are huge evnts, but Portland Trans has always been THE kickoff event for the car season. They close off the whole neighborhood for 1/2 mile in all directions and park people angled in everywhere. It's an awesome sight, and all drivers, no trailer queens.

the dairy queen is on the corner of farmington and kinnaman but its closer to 174th. if you come up famington from 217 you cant miss it if you come up tv hwy than you can turn at either 170th and come down to farmington rd or turn at 185th and then make a left onto kinnaman. that will also get you there
