Default Performance of a '73 350-2 Camaro

I am wanting to know what the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for a '73 Camaro 350-2 barrel with TH350 and 2.73 open rear end.

Specifically a '73 Type LT with AC if it can be dialed into that.

Otherwise a '72 or '74 with same powertrain set up would be close.

Anyone know?

well its not gonna be good if its the stock 350 and a 2.73 rear end...you only have around 145hp stock..your 1/4 mi is gonna be in the 19's and 0-60 in around 11s

I think the HP was a little more in the 1973 than 140HP. If I recall it was closer to 185hp back then.

According to the original sales brochure the 350 2 barrel turned 145hp, the 350 4 barrel turned 175hp and there was a 245hp option avail. The 73 I just bought has a 383 with a lumpy cam, 5 1/2 lift??? Holley 750, dual plane Weiland mannifold, and I can't remeber what the rear end is but the sheets I have show the mid 12s on the quarter. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the response. I was curious as I used to have the car I described back in the 1980's. I was a hand me down - my mother bought it new. Remembering back I figured the car was good for about a 10 second flat 0-60 and maybe a high 17/low 18 second quarter mile. Never timed it. Of course it wasn't fast, though it was a nice mid range speed touring powertrain. It seemed to have decent acceleration between 60-100. It would make it to an indicated 123 if given enough open road. I miss the car. It really was a nice driver in its day.
