What size are your valves and what's the compression ratio? I'll run it through camquest to see what it recommends.

I actually thought the numbers looked pretty good for a 350. With 320 at the wheels, the at the flywheel hp is in the 375 range. That's not too shabby, and where it makes peak h.p. and torque is in a very usable range. Go building in more h.p. and torque with a diffrerent cam, and you'll most likely put it in a higher rpm range, with less low end torque than you have now. When I get a chance, I can play with some figures on D.D. for fun, just to see what a different cam does.

I emailed trick flow asking them what cam.

There response was "The largest cam you can use in that combination is the Comp Cams 288H"

So I Googled Comp Cams 288H and I cant find any spects. Even at Summit. There is a price but nothing about the size of the cam. Am I missing something?

Oh - I figured it out. the 288 the intake duration. Basically they are just saying not to get a cam with a larger intake duration then a 288.

Swap those AFRs to the car and the trick flows to the truck. http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/cam-specs/Details.aspx?csid=80&sb=2 Check this one out.

The images have to be on a server to work.
I like the looks of that cam. Hmm... My have to get that one.

I would have to swap exhaust. The headers are different. My machine shop was more impressed with the trickflow heads. I need to get the truck on the dyno. They are the same block, but the truck as a Lunati 60103. The truck should have more HP but it weighs more.

Might be better to swap engines. Truck also has a victor jr intake and a Holley 770 ultra street avenger.

280XFI-HR is the cam camquest spit out. Part number 12-467-8
That was with a 100hp shot of nitrous. I've never used the program for a motor using nitrous so i'm not 100% sure of myself. Never gotten a graph with a torque curve like that. I assume the program has the nitrous coming in at the start. I couldn't find any way to pick the point where it comes in so .

Peak HP 552 at 6000

Peak torque was 782 at 1000

Here's a screen shot but it's kind of hard to see.

I got the same recommendation when I ran it. I was kinda confused because "XTREME Fuel Injection (XFI™) Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshafts" I'm not running fuel injection. Don't see why it would matter unless it has less lope.

Pablo63, are you saying my motor will make 552 HP with that cam? and 782 tq? Really? that is a huge gain. 100 for nitrous. leaving 452. 452 - 320 = 132. That would be a gain of 132 HP from just a cam and roller lifters. For real? Is that possible.

No guarantee on that. Some of the selections for input I made were rough guesses. Like on your compression ratio I entered 9.5 to 1 as a ballpark guesstimate. I'd say it's possible thou. I seem to recall claims for those heads supporting up to 450 hp? Maybe someone else can run it on a different
DD and see if it's similar.
