New Member,new project,70RS + C4 IRS
This is what I have:
1970 Camaro RS-solid CA car,350/th350/10bolt,needs freshing up.
1990 Corvette Z51 with bent frame(what are friends for)
I plan on installing the IRS from the Corvette into my Camaro.
The IRS on the C4 is self contained,it uses 2 brackets to mount the 4 trailing arms and the diff cover is a T-bar that acts as the upper mount. The remaining components attach to the spindles and the diff housing.A trac-link bolts the transmission to the diff and locks it into place.I know this is very simplified but the gist is there.
Has anyone done this or considered doing it???
Can anyone think of a reason it wouldn't work???
I'm trying to make the best of a bad situation....
Thanks for any replies...

Welcome! post some pics if you can.I havent seen this done on a second gen camaro but i have seen it done on a late 4th gen camaro. You will abviously have to do a lot of modification and custom fitting, but it can and will work.
