new member and this is my project a 1970 split bumper with matching #'s it has a 350 small block with a 400 trany still trying to figure out if is a rs or ss

found out is not a rs or ss it's a lt but who cares it will look bad's when i'm done

Ever figure out what the car is from the vin or build sheet? It cant be an RS. 70-73 RS's all had round front turn signals beside the headlights and it looks to me like you have the turn signals that are below the bumper. Still could be a standard camaro, SS, or Z28. Hard to tell without seeing all the options, or the vin number/build sheet.

Car's lookin good btw, very nice project car.

ill post the vin #. the car has the wood kit with the steering wheel the floor shifter a 350 motor and tranny, i think is a 10 bolt rear end last time i check and the rear sway bar. but i think it might be a LT model i found some emblem in the truck. by the way did the 70 maro come with a HEI distributor.

i hope your replacing the rusted out places with some fresh steel. dash and floorboards looks like its gonna need some.
