New Engine/Update
Before you read this, i have to apologize for the lack of pictures, but I am working on getting them in the post. can anyone help me figure out how to get them in the post?
Well, the Camaro's been through alot since the last time I posted. But I should probably start off by saying that I finally got a new engine! and in the very near future, ill be putting in a new interior. (Ill have pleanty of pictures later in the post)
To start with the engine, I picked up a 74 impala 350 from a Friend's dad's Friend who races at the local DragStrip. It ran when it was pulled, but we had a leftover unused gasket kit so we started the rebuild. after thouroughly cleaning the engine, it was ressembled with all new gaskets from oil pan to heads. We already had one of those half-ton engine stands from harbor freight. It worked very nicely during the whole cleaning and inspecting process. One thing I would reccommend is to add a front support to hold up the engine and use grade 8s, but thats just my over-caution. during this time, my dad and I had been building a test stand from dimensions we saw on the internet.
So until I get these pictures up the test stand, the newly painted engine and engine bay, im sorry, but I can only telll you about them till then.(I HATE THIS COMPUTER)
