Need help!!!Stop Running!!!!
Coming home from work and got right before my driveway and the car died I had just enough to get it in. It drove home fine. The engine quit and power steering quit everything stopped working. It has a fairly new alternator less than a year. I waited a few min. and it started up .I am lost. Any help would be great. Thanks

Power steering is belt driven off the engine, so that's why you lost P.S.
Did you try to start the engine right after it quit, or did you just wait the few min first?
If you did try right away, did it crank over but didn't fire, or did it act dead when you turned the key?
Could be a few things, need more info before starting to throw guesses at you.
OK, I'll ask one to start...is there gas in the tank, and is your gas gauge accurate? [8D]

It's one of two things...ignition (spark) or fuel.
Since it restarted right away, I don't think it would be an ignition problem, unless you maybe have a loose wire to the coil or distributor.
So, on to fuel:
What kind of carb do you have?
Mechanical or electric fuel pump?
Is the carb float at the right level?
Is the carb clean inside, or is it old with a lot of miles with crap floating around inside?
Is your fuel filter good? If you have a Quadrajunk, it would/should/might have a filter in the body of the carb at the inlet pipe. It can sometimes be a forgotten item and could be clogged.

That's one of the many things I like about Holley's, you can easily check float bowl height. Did you check fuel level through the sight plugs. I put the clear plugs on mine, makes it a lot easier to keep an eye on it.
Also, how old is your dist. cap and wires? When a car acts up in thedamp air, it's generally an ignition problem. You could have a bad cap that's cross-tracking, or bad wires that are leaking.

I am not sure how old the dist. and wires are. I have had this car for about year and they look like they may have some age on them. I will check the fuel sight plugs. Thanks for the help
