Default Need help with carb

So the carb on my 79 Berlinetta needed a cleaning and rebuilding, so I bought the only kit I found for a reasonable price online and when it got here it didn't fit. I then found a Rochester DualJet that my research said should fit, and it didn't. Can someone help me find the right rebuild kit for my stock carb or a replacement carb that will fit the engine? Or at least tell me the model numbers I need.

Two items for you to find:
1. a stamped metal tag attached to one of the bowl screws - use this number for parts,
2. on the drvr side above the throttle shaft, is a stamped number - carburetor code - tells the year and application.

Surprised the kit did not fit, generally, there is extra gaskets and things for universal fit through the years.

So the part number I just found on there and looked up matches a 74 Chevy. The picture matches, but I can't figure out why I would have this carb on my car...
