Default Installed my first headliner today.

Been putting this headliner off for nice day, and also because I've never done one before. Started out ripping out the rest of the old one that didn't burn in the fire of last summer. Then measured the width and marked center on the back of the bow supports. After marking center I marked the location of each clip, so I could get them close before installing the headliner.
Once I had all the clip locations laid out I trimmed the wire rods I bought at Lowes. They were about 4" long, but the exact size to match originals. I started to slide on all the new clips, but found they were a bit too tight! The old ones slid on fine, but I had to ream out all the new ones with a drill bit to allow them to slide freely.
After getting all the clips located I started at the center bow sliding them into their positions. I worked my way forward and back until I had all 5 bows installed. Last thing to do was install the rubber edge molding front and back, and the trim, sunvisors, etc. I don't know how this is supposed to be done, so I took a step back and came up with an idea.
I went to the office supply store and got a bunch of small spring steel clips for holding paper. I started stretching the front edge towards the center of the windshield, and when it was snug I clipped it to the edge molding. I worked my way to each side, and then went back and adjusted it as needed. Went to the back window and repeated the same with more clips.
Then I started at the center side and pulled on each bow support to get slack out of them. When they were snug I ran a large flat head phillips tapper screw into the seam and attached them to the edge of the inner roof. I repeated this moving towards the front and rear. Then went to the other side and did the same.
Once I had all the wrinkles out I started in the middle front and removed the paper clip; then applied contact cement to the edge of the roof, and the inside of the headliner and stuck it back in place with the clip. Moving from center to outside edge I repeated this. Then I did the same to the rear window area.
Finally I did the edges above the doors between each bow, and let the glue set up. Then I removed the screws holding the edges and stuck the headliner in place, pulling it snug as I went. When it was all done I removed all the paper clip holders and used a rubber mallet to tap the edge molding on front and rear, then installed the rest of the trim, and finally reinstalled my rollbar.
Wasn't bad at all, even with removing the rollbar and reinstalling it. I had enough time to sand and repaint the rollbar, plus cut my rear supports shorter to tip the rollbar's angle slightly back, so I can get full travel on my front seats. They were a bit long, and The seat backs sat against the rollbar uprights when the seat was all the way back, so that problem is fixed too!

Now I just need to run the wife's hair dryer across the surface to get the last of the ripples out, and it's done!
