I have purchased a 77 with a stuck switch, The previous owner did a hatchet job trying to get itout of the columnand right now if the battery is connected it stays on the whole time.. I have gone by the disassembly procedure in a haynes manual with no luck , the previous owner tore it pretty good..I have it all disassemled and it just wont come out, does anyone have any idea's or suggestions? Default RE: Ignition switch problems !!!

Call a locksmith and let him replace the lock cylinder with new keys. It worked for me when mine was jammed up. AAA locksmith came to the house on Sunday and only cost me $75 and it was worth it.
