Saginaws are iron. With the rev shift lever in the side cover. Borg warners can be either but iron ones are early (think 60s). BW have 26 spline inputs, and larger (TH400) outputs. They also have an iron side cover and the rev lever is in the tail shaft. The cover has 9 bolts I think. I can even tell you the ratios if you know how many rings are in the input shaft.

Hey nomad i have similar shacle extenders on my 75 i just bought and the rear shocks top out if you get my drift. i was thinking about the stock ones do you want to get rid of yours? i was going to buy a set. unless you can guide me on how to not make the shocks bang when i hit a bump? could they be the wrong height shocks? i doubled upo on the bushings to give it alittle more height works until you hit a good bump.

I don't have shackle extenders there just beefy replacements from protouringfbody. Actually there set up to lower it 1/2". As for your car the make shock extenders that screw on the end. Try a search for them, I think Moroso makes some.
