How Much Is This Car Worth?
I found this car and he is selling it for 16,000 I think it is worth that much but want to know what you might pay for it, it was bought as a shell, he took it to a body shop and hit it painted, had the engine built for him, did everything else himself, number not matching but thats not a concern for me, link to the photobucket album is at the bottom of this post, thanks.
1971 Chevy Camaro with 2" cowl hood, RS front end, front spoiler, and new Metallic Blue paint with racing stripes. No dents or rust, but one small scratch in lower rear quarter. Sure can't buy much for $16K any more, and I'd say that's a pretty clean well assembled car. Of course you know the hood is not original GM, as none of the 2nd. gen Camaros had cowl hoods from the factory. But it's still a common upgrade I see on many 2nd gen Camaros.
I really like the car, and if it's truly as solid as it looks the price is very fair.

Looks like a real nice car. You'd definitely have more than 16k into it if you were to rebuild one yourself.
I have to wonder though, when people word a listing using terms like "RS front end", but doesn't call the car an "RS". Then says "but the RS front end is true to the car and is all GM". So, is it an RS, or is he saying he made it look like one using true GM panels? Either way, it's still a nice car.
