How do I detrmine a true 1969 SS
I'm looking at purchasing a 1969 Camaro SS BB but I have not been able to find what code letter or number of the vin indicates the SS package. This is my first 69 and I do not want to make a mistake of paying for a true SS and getting a clone. Thank you to anyone who can help.

best reference material is the Camaro White Book because there are too many things that can be missed from just an answer online
if you're going to spend top dollar on a true SS then just the vin is nowhere near enough info. you will need the vin, body-tag, ID the block, etc....
