First And Foremost Hello im a newbie to this forum.. any forums for awhile. i just picked up a 1973 lt/rs camaro that im building up, its currently primered and the insides a mess. the plus is that the bodys rust free(95%) and straight. I like the split bumper look. but i took off the original rs front grill cover (The extra nose piece). i want to use a standard or SS grill underneath is this possible? http://www.detroitspeed.com/images/P.../DALEJR/dalejr

Not certain what you are asking here. DSE used a RS grille in that car, but the nose piece was left off and a hand formed front was used. Are you wanting to use a SS grille without the nose piece? If so you need to change the valance and header panel.

 

thanks so much, i called DSE thats what they said as wedll great guys thye are willing to help on just about anything. but are the z28/ss grills bigger than the rs ones? im saying this because if i havbe to ill fabricate thr grill to fit. thanks again
