Hi everyone, I just bought a 67 camaro SS / RS, my dream car. Its a driver but a bit of a project, I am going through it to fix a few things, and one issue I am struggling with is the grill. I don't want to shell out the 700+ just yet to restore the RS hideaway lights, its cool but I also like the way the lights look. So i bought a 200$ SS grill package and have a few questions:

1. Is there a difference in fenders from a RS and a SS?
2. Are there different headlight mounts from a SS and RS? (mine appear to be pretty recessed).
3. any suggestions on parts I may need to do this? I have the grill and healight bezels now for the SS grill.
4. Am I crazy for converting the RS to SS? ( i know SS/RS is very valuable but this car is far from show quality and I want to make it how I like it for now.

Yes the fenders on the RS and SS (or standard) are different where the headlight assemblies mount.. And yes people pay a lot of money to have RS light package so you must be crazy.. Stop being a tightwad do it right and do it once..
