It's all part of owning a classic. Stuff happens, and usually when you need the money for something else.

 

Totally understand that. I get the same feeling every time I buy dinner for the family. This weekend is my oldest sons birthday party. I really don't want to buy 8 pizzas. But I do put them first. Damn family. 3 years ago i would have lived off a pack of hotdogs for a week just to get money to buy in at the track.

 

I still haven't finished getting all of my motor parts yet. The last of my engine money went for school clothes. Oh well

No, you're not the only one! I don't even want to say what I've gone through to fund car projects, but it's always been secondary to the family and home.

 

Oh man I got one last year before school clothes. Now that I think about it with a birthday a the end of August this is gonna get real tough in years to come. We had the party this afternoon and my youngest started runing a fever and was layin across my lap, all was good for 45 min of so. He slept the oldest opened presents, i was snapping pics. Then man my legs got warm. He was hurling on my lap-silently! Just though I'd share that with you guys. I stood up and got it in my new shoes, yuck. LOL
