if its "stock" you would be at 165 horse
i bought the hooker comp and they fit fine(with a little tweaking) because it was bent up a little to much which we fixed
depends what you are taking off the enigne if you are going to take off the exhaust manifold then you might get 30 or so if that if its completely stock
i had the same set up but mine was a crate motor that was rated at 330 horse

I'd be surprised if you could get 30 hp increase from a stock low performance engine with just header install. On occasion I've seen people actually lose HP installing headers, if they went with too large a tube and lost needed backpressure!
If you buy a set of headers only, then be sure to get the smaller diameter tubes and don't run too large of tailpipes for the engine. You might gain 10% on your engine, but if it's stock at under 200 hp, that's around 20 hp.

I would definitely try and find out what all was done in the upgrade. The stock 76 LM1 engine only put out 160 HP or so with an 8.5:1 compression ratio. There weren't any higher horsepower models like the Z-28 or SS either during this year. Only option was an LT and that was just a trim model at that point.

It doesn't have the original motor in it.

If it's stock and after 74 then there weren't many engines in the 240 hp range. The 245 HP Camaro wasn't seen again till 89 after the L82 engine in 1974 IIRC.
