header problems !!!!!!!!!!

Default header problems !!!!!!!!!!

ok, i had to grind a bracket down to fit the headers on. and it just touches it. its the frame support rod. in the instruction manual it says they could be removed. i just grinded it down. and the pipe touches it. will this cause any problems???

I cant quite make out the picture due to my monitor slowly dieing but I think I know what you are talking about I had to grind mine down also and I have flowtech headers. I would not let the headers touch the brace because the engine will move when you put a load on it you could wear a hole into the header from the movement and the vibration dont let it touch. Also check the clearance to the starter you dont want them touching there either. The flowtechs were also hitting under the car, and they end up being unequal length.
