man i wasnt trying to say i dislike your cam at all i think it sounds great i am not a nay sayer i love to hear a car that will sit there and lope like a true hotrod it sounds great

 

No man I wasn't refering to you. Alot of negative chit out there on some forums about these cams. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

i ask some people about those cams an i heard they was just for sound .i don't know anything about them except the adds for them say they add hp. i love the sound tho ...

I've seen alot of posts by people who have heard this. Most of them have no actual experience with these cams. Trust me they add more than a lopey idle. I know there are cams that will make better numbers but to say these are just noise cams is unfair. My combo made 554 Hp and 530 ft lbs. iirc and it comes in very early. One of these days I'll dig up my dyno sheets and post them. Heck, I'll even give demo rides to the doubters. Yeah that's it "Demos for Doubters" I made myself laugh.

i don't doubt ya , like i said the adds say they add hp . nothings going to give me the hp i want out of this 305 .(it's a turd lol ) but if i lived closer to ya i'd take ya up on that ride tho jus for ****s an giggles .

What are the specs on the big ***** thumper cams for your engine? I looked at their web site, but they don't list that one for some reason. Found it for a SBC, but not BBC.
