Good Y pipe, cat, exhaust for 78 Camaro?
Yeah, If you go with an X you will be good on both. Y pipes are good n all.. But think of it this way, they put Y pipes on V6 Mustangs and they are slow as ***** (believe me) and they dont sound as good as they can. Personally Im gonna do True dual (no cross over.) and ive yet to figure out some good mufflers.. Maybe flows... or Cherry bombs
I just want to scare little children and wake the neighbors.. lol. maintaining a good amount of clean sound tho lol.

I did some research yesterday....from the VIN, it says it is a Berlinetta with a 305 motor (ORIGINALLY) The motor that is in it right now is a 350 5.7L
I did just recently buy it. The guy I bought it from said the owner before him had swapped the motor out at some point. So I honestly don't know when it was done or how many miles are on the motor. It has a turbo 350 auto tranny. I have a turbo 400 as a backup in case I ever need it.

As far as muffler goes...I would go with a Flowmaster Super 40....that is what I plan to put on mine.
My friend has an 84 Z28 High Output and it has regular 40 series and it sounds pretty badass. Super 40 would be deeper, but he hasa 305 in it.....I think it would sound better on a 350.
