Check Jegs or Summit. they sell GM Goodwrench crate engine kits. i just looked at jegs, they have a 350 260hp that includes a carb/intake/dist./coil/intake gaskets. for around $2100

Im not looking to spend that much im looking for a short block stock 350 but im putting 202 heads on it so I was wondering what size cam I should use to match the heads.

 

I will get the 383 stoker . In time $$$$ looks to be 5 to 6k ouch!

Thay whant 5 k for a ZZ 383 Do you have to ask for the discount.

 

Call them up and ask if that is their final price, also check with your local GM dealer & see what they want. Don't be afraid to ask for discounts, as most won't volunteer one. The ZZ383 is a premium engine and the price you mentioned is not out of line.
