does anybody have any info on glass belted tires? a guy i work with says they stopped making them before 1977. are they worth anything if they're in good shape? they're Hercules Winter Radials GR7814

I believe Pro-Trac also used to make (don't know if they still do) them also. any tire that old is worthless. the rubber would be all dry-rotted by now and be more suseptible to blow-outs
