Getting 4 speed out of park

Thanks! I was looking at NastyZ28's page last night trying to write down the numbers he has there that would be possible match's.

Okay, the whole shifter mechanism is seized. I knocked out the cotter pins and removed the 2 rods on the reverse tab on the trans, 1 from the shifter and the other going to the steering colum lock. The rear driveshaft and rear wheel roll just fine. The drums were even easy to remove.

Nice,I forgot all about those goofy Muncie shifters with the reverse lockout,back in the day most guys ripped them out and installed a Hurst.
I haven't driven one since the 1970's with a Muncie shifter still in place.
