gauge problem

Default gauge problem

li have a 81 z28 camaro with gauges,, not the idiot lights, and i have lost all power to them, they all quit working at once ive replaced all fuses and still can get no power anyone know where the problem may b

Check the grounds on the back. Also the printed circuit could have died, it happens but the grounds need to be looked at first.

Heres some help.
#1 Brown - Tach Lead
#2 Green/White - Temp Gauge to Sender
#3 Pink - 12volts switched from #8
#4 Tan/Black - Fuel Level Gauge to Sender
#5 Gray - Dash/Gauge Lights
#6 Black - Ground
#7 Tan - Emergency Brake Light
#8 Pink (2) - 12volts switched - looped to #3
#9 Light Blue - Left Signal Light
#10 Light Green High Beam Light
#11 Blue - Right Signal Light
#12 Blue/White - Oil Light to Sender

i have ground on my harness but i have no power on the connector what so ever, any ideas

Track the wire back. If the fuse is in the wire should be hot unless there is a break in it.

whats the odds of my keyswitch being bad, the car still starts and runs and everything works though

If you are checking power to the harness plug with the key on and it's not hot, then check the fuses to see if they are all hot with the key on. If neither is hot you need to start following wires until you find the problem. Also check the ground to a known ground to be sure it's not broken.
