fuel type

Default fuel type

do i need to use fuel additives for my 67 camaro. curious if new fuels will damage the 327 designed for leaded type fuels

No way thousands of people and myself are building or have built engines that were built before 75 and ran primarly on leaded gas when they were new. You don't have to alter anything just put the unleaded gas in and your good to go.

if it is the orginal engine and valve seats unleaded gas will have an effect on the valve seats, it just wont happen over night, it will take time to do the damage and you probley wont notice it

It is a good idea to install hardned valve seats to compensate for the lack of lubrication that comes with unleaded fuel.
