Stock out the box the RSX-S run 15s in the ETs. Dont get me wrong, the car is pretty fast for an NA out the box, but I think that your maro will not give him to fair of a race. Just expect about a bus length on him if he has no mods.

Me and you would be a better race to tell you the truth. Don't the 94 maro Z28 run 14.2 out the box??

The site that they took it from was:

http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html

They have all the links to the makes and models. This is a VERY reliable source as well. Very accurate.

if its the type-s it has like 220hp and a 6sp..with basic mods prolly 235hp (at the crank)

btw..that car with a header and full catback sounds nice for a 4cyl..clean crisp sound

Its still a slowpoke though....

I raced one a while back and I could literally eat a sandwich while shifting going down the quarter. I had him by 2 cars 0-60 and a whole bus length at the end (both of us were stock). And up top they arent that bad but they rely on Vtech which when they shift 5th to 6th, messes them up. 6th is sitting @ 5.5K RPM and their last Vtech is @ 6.5K RPM (redline 8K).

Dont feel so bad thegluefactory, that guy will not pass you even if he has a Vtech controller. You will launch better, and reach the quarter faster either way. Like I said, you and me would be a far better matchup.

i woulda thought if it was the type s they would make the gears shorter to keep it in the vtech range..

there was a guy on here that has a rsx but hes never around anymore

its not about keeping it in vtec. vtec feels like a kick in the pants only because its adjusting the cams for a higher rpm. they could have just as easily given the cams the vtec profile for the entire rpm range and the car would perform in the higher rpm just the same. vtec is not for high end performance, its really more about giving a high revving car a little torque back... vtec is, in this way of thinking, a low end thing
