Default Exhaust for my 78 Z28

I've recently decided to go with some new exhaust for my Camaro. I'm running a 350 CID with a mild cam and I want a real aggressive sound. For a while I've been running headers and straight pipe but as of lately it doesn't sound as good as I want it to. I want something that is as close to a NASCAR stock car as possible but slightly muffled so I can have a reason to put a radio in my car and keep the cops off of my ***. I'm not afraid of something very loud so any and all suggestions are welcome. Secondly, for a new set of headers I was thinking of going with some Hooker shorty headers. Just wondered what you guys though of the brand and if you had any other suggestions. Also, should I invest the extra money and get the ceramic coated headers, are they worth it?

I love the way flowmaster 40 series mufflers, hooker headers are pretty good too, the coating is worth the money and it looks great too!

I know that... that's obvious as hell. What I was trying to get was a muffler that would retain that straight pipe sound, just kick it down a few decibles. To the other poster, thanks for the advice. For a while I was leaning towards a 40's series but have decided just to go with new headers and run the pipe straight out of the back with some 90's Z28 exhaust tips.
