Default Engine swap help

alright so heres the deal, I have 3 vechiles lying around, and I want to make a working vechile out of one of them, I have a 90 suburban with a Tbi 350 (it has no title, but a good engine) I also have a 85 C10 with a 350 (the engine threw a rod) but it has a good carb, and finally I have a 79 camaro with the 4.1L L6, the carb's fried on it, I plan on taking the suburbans engine, pulling the Tbi off of it, and using the carb/intake manifold and what ever else is needed on the suburban engine, i then want to drop the engine into the camaro, I plan on using a electric feul pump (i have a whole kit lying around that i used on my c10) anyways do you have to modify the motor mounts in the camaro to drop in a 350? also will the tranny bolt up to the new engine, its a automatic, I think its a 4 speed, also will I run into any problems with the water pump not fitting, power steering or anything like that?

With all those choices, I would be certain you'llfind enogh parts amongst them to do the swap. I would reccommend not using the electric fuel pump, as you'll need to modify your gas tank to use a factory pump, as they have a return line to bleed off excess pressure back to the tank. The '79 doesn't have that (I don't believe) so that's extra work. I'd use a mechanical pump to make it simpler.
The engine mounts on the 6 cyl. wont work, but I believe the frame mounts will accept the engine mounts for the 350. Might have to relocate them, but they may just work as-is. You'll have to trial fit the engine to be sure.
The transmission will bolt right up to your engine's flex plate, and you should be able to use one of the power steering pumps and brackets, and then just connect the lines to the box.
You'' want to use the radiator out of the 85 C10, as the 6 cyl. radiator will be a little light for the V8. The top hold down plate should work with either radiator. Might have to reposition the rubber pads to the correct location for the width of the radiator, if the C10 has a HD radiator that's wider.
Check to see if the radiator has the holes for the tranny cooler, and if it doesn't just install an auxillary trans cooler.
I think that should do it, except for an exhaust system.

Just a question. Does the 90 motor even have a lobe on the cam for a mechanical pump?

I have no idea with the cam lobe, but will the bell housing bolt up with the 350?

As I said in my previous post, the tranny will bolt up.

If you use the '90 engine you will want to check the cam lobe. I'm sure it doesn't have an operating rod, even if it does have a mechanical lobe. You'll need to remove the blank off plate for the pump, then get a rod from one of the good 350's and install it into the hole at the plate. Crank the engine and hold the rod against the cam. If it goes in and out you're good to go.

The block might not even be machined through. The engine in my 91 had the mounting boss for a pump, but nothing was finish machined to accept one.
