which engine manifold?

Default which engine manifold?

HI,

As you may know i'm from England and i'm putting together a Big Block 454 for my 77 LT, i was looking at the Edelbrook performer manifold ( low rise ), as hood clearence will be tight.I have been offered the below manifold new for agood price.Please can you tell me if they are any good and would there be any difference in the height?

The Edelbrock will be just a bit lower under the hood... if you call .3 inch (7-8MM) shorter... They both list for $202 US on Summit... if you can get the other one for Cheap...I vote for jumping on it..... Since the Hood is the same as the 70-71 hood with a big block I would thing that this should fit without a problem.

I do have a 2.5inch Cowl hood, so that gives me abit more room. Is there much difference with the Carb adapters between the two Manifolds?.
